Following the financial success of the concerts this year and last, I'm sending out (another) s.o.s. re- our choir(s). Every year I ask for recruits for choir - it's now made up of just 11 people, most of whom are over 50 ! We rely to a great extent on others, some of whom travel a fair distance, week in, week out, to attend practices, Sunday services and funerals.

Thankfully, our choir also helps out at some of Hampton's events. An input of even just half a dozen more singers will help ensure we continue for at least another few years. There is no pressure to attend EVERY practice or EVERY service ... the more folk who join, the less pressure there is for everyone. The best time to join (I believe) is this Thursday (11/9) or next (18/9) ... no auditions! Most people can sing (and most of those, in tune !).
