For St Peter's
Saturday 9th August at St Peter's - total of tickets, raffle and 'bucket' = £866.70 and a proportion of that will be gift-aided - thanks to all who sang, helped (in any/every way), bought a ticket, sold a ticket, donated etc etc THANK YOU ALL. A small proportion of this went to the hall fund (after all, we weren't charged for the renting! - the rest to church funds. I'm going to recommend that the profits (or should it be prophets?) go to buying a new LARGE screen for the hall - ideally 8' by 8' like the current, creased one! But we'll see!!
For Curdworth
Saturday 16th August at Curdworth - total of tickets, raffle and 'bucket' = £943.00 and a proportion of that will also be gift-aided - thanks to all who sang, helped (in any/every way), bought a ticket, sold a ticket, donated etc etc, it being our 2nd of the 3 events, I was assuming that everything would go well, having endeavoured to put things right - there were still a few small 'mistakes' again down to moi - THANK YOU ALL. I've no idea how the money will be used (but if I find out, I'll let you know.)
For Hampton
Thursday 28th at Hampton - total of tickets, raffle and 'bucket' = £1093.35 and a proportion of that will be gift-aided - thanks to all who sang, helped (in any/every way), bought a ticket, sold a ticket, donated etc etc THANK YOU ALL - the money will go into (MUCH needed) church funds (I've no idea how it will be spent but I know that people at the church are well-chuffed seeing the results of your efforts) - THANKS!!!
A combined grand total of £2903.05
I've sent this to all members of the 3 choirs (Balsall Common, Hampton seniors, Hampton AAA) and Anton will forward to his choir (if not already done). I've also included treasurers, church wardens, clergy etc.
Sitting on a VERY windy beach shortly, meal out tonight (and maybe the odd lager and/or Malbec) - 'cheers' all
If anyone needs to see all the sheets, calculations etc etc - do please email me (sometime in January 2031) - thanks - Kim
Oh and, before anyone asks, I have NO intention of organising another set for next year (VERY happy to help in any way if someone else does) but 2026, I'm having a year off from such things (DON'T ask why!!! - some simple reasons but some more sinister reasons too ... da da daaaaaaaaaaa!!!)
