Kneelers for Malawi:

Dear Friends. As you know we stopped using the kneelers in St Peter’s Church once the church had chairs for everyone to sit on. Those of us who worked and or donated kneelers were offered the chance to have them. I took those that I and my daughters had worked and some made by deceased members of the Mothers’ Union in order to send them to churches in Malawi. I was also given a few others not needed or required by the person who worked them.

I sent them to the church Agnes attends and they were extremely grateful for them. I have worshipped at this church and know they mostly kneel for prayers,

Agnes asks me to thank you all and to tell you they have asked God to bless us abundantly for our generosity. The photographs are of the Vicar blessing the kneelers.

In the past we have also sent vestments to a church in Southern Malawi. They are building new churches all the time but can only afford to get necessary furnishings gradually.

Thank you again for your generosity in helping our brothers and sisters in Malawi.

Claire.
